Most so-called “reusable bags” tend to be awkward,
making them hard to carry, or stow for that matter, and because of this
people simply forget or rather not bring them on their future shopping
excursions.

We are very proud that Shagbags are 100% ethically
manufactured.. Shagbags are
made in our ISO certified Chinese manufacturing facility.
Our Story:
The Shagbag™ story began
during the 2007 holiday season, when partners Alli Oliver and Stefanie
DiBenedetto made it their mission to refuse retailers bags when doing
their Christmas shopping. They each saved about 50 bags, but found it
very difficult to use the reusable bags on the market at that time. They
were cumbersome, not attractive and definitely not stylish.
Not wanting to compromise their style any longer, Alli
& Stef set out to create "the perfect reusable shopping bag". They
thought of all the characteristics their perfect reusable bag would
have. It should be portable, practical, soft, lightweight, crunchable,
washable and eco-friendly. It would be as stylish as their outfits; an
easy to use bag that is practical and usable for all shopping, not just
at the grocery store. Four weeks later, the "Shagbag" was born.
