DuPont™ Tyvek® is a material that features all the best properties of paper, film and fabric, but also provides unique beauty, strength and recyclability.
Shagbags are made exclusively of super-strong DuPont™ Tyvek®, which makes them:
• Strong and resistant to tears and punctures.
• Machine washable or spot cleanable—just rinse and hang dry.
• Soft and “scrunchable,” to easily fit in a purse or pocket adding convenience for consumers bringing back to stores to be reused again and again.

• 100% recyclable. Return Shagbags to grocery store bag recycling bins or have them collected curbside with other plastic bags.
Tyvek® provides significant source reduction opportunities, helping to meet resource conservation goals. It simply takes less material to make Tyvek® when compared to other film and paper substrates. Tyvek® typically weighs half as much as other printing substrates.The reduced weight offered by Tyvek® can result in fuel savings during the transportation of roll or sheet deliveries and eventually bulk and small order Shagbags.

Shagbags can be returned to grocery store bag recycling bins or collected curbside with other plastic bags to be recycled into durable goods, such as high-quality synthetic lumber products, corrugated drainage pipes and even fishing lures.
But we cut up ours and use them as REUSABLE GIFT WRAP!!
If reuse or recycling is not an option, Tyvek® can be cleanly incinerated, and the high energy value can be utilized. Also, because Tyvek® is chemically inert without binders, it can be safely disposed of in landfills.
